Advising Notes

  1. Courses in mathematics, the physical sciences, or engineering taken CR/NC are not counted toward fulfillment of degree requirements in electrical engineering.
  2. Electrical engineering majors might consider a math minor (see faculty adviser for details).
  3. All electrical engineering students must consult with their academic adviser at least once each year.
  4. The Upper-Division Writing Skills requirements can be met by passing the university examination or by completing IE 182W with a letter grade of C or better no sooner than the term in which 60 units of coursework are completed. If
  5. IE 182W is taken, the total units completed for the program will be 127.
  6. 5. If ECE 191T is chosen, it must be the mathematical analysis in electrical engineering section of the course.
