Industrial Technology Minor Requirements
The Minor in Industrial Technology consists of 20 units of which 9 units must be upper-division. The program provides students with an introduction to industrial technology. Students will acquire specialized technical and management knowledge and skills. Students, in consultation with a department advisor, may choose from among the following courses: IT 12, 30, 52, 74, 92, 106, 115, 116, 117, 120, 131, 133, 137, 156, 184, 186, 190.
Note: The Industrial Technology Minor also requires a 2.0 GPA and 6 upper-division units in residence.
The faculty are well qualified within their respective areas of instruction and each student is assigned an academic adviser within his or her field of study. The department is recognized for its diversification of faculty representing the makeup of professionals that must interact in the field. Several are recognized for outstanding contributions and leadership within their professions.
