About the production:
A world premiere, 'Fresno’s Grapes of Wrath' explores contemporary rural life in the Valley. The play is influenced by "Blue Willow", written by Doris Gates, a long-time librarian in Fresno. The play weaves the past and present voice of the migrant within the Central Valley, from the Great Depression to the Great Recession.
