Brigid deJong

Brigid de Jong holds a B. A. in music from Fresno Pacific University, and an M. A. in music from California State University, Fresno. She has soloed with a variety of groups, including the Los Angeles Consortium Musicum, the Cuesta Master Chorale, the San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival, Pacific Repertory Opera, the Mozart Opera Studies Institute, the Fresno Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Fresno Community Chorus. Ms de Jong has made an extensive study of Russian Lyric Diction and teaches seminars on singing in Russian. She is also engaged in exploring the Russian Art Song literature. Ms. de Jong teaches Opera Workshop and Studio Voice at Fresno State. She is also President of the San Joaquin Chapter of NATS, the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
