Timothy Todd Anderson
Timothy Todd Anderson is the associate director of bands at California State University, Fresno. In this capacity, he directs both the Symphonic Band and the 300-member Bulldog Marching Band. He additionally teaches courses in music education and music appreciation. He earned the Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Iowa, the Masters of Music from the University of Florida, and the Doctorate of Education in music education from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He has served as a public school band director for the West Marshall Community School District of State Center, Iowa, as well as a graduate teaching assistant with the band programs at both the University of Florida and the University of Illinois. Dr. Anderson is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and holds honorary memberships in Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma. He is the sponsor of the Iota Alpha chapter of KKPsi and the Eta Omega chapter of TBS. Dr. Anderson is a member of the Fresno-Madera Counties Music Educators Association, and maintains an active role as a clinician with local band programs. He resides in Fresno with his wife Jennifer, who is also a musician.
