Graduation with Honors

In order to graduate with honors, an undergraduate student must have a minimum of 3.5 GPA, both campus and cumulative.  Undergraduate honors students who have been approved for graduation, (Summer 2018, Fall 2018, and Spring 2019), and have met the honors qualifications prior to the last day of instruction, will graduate with honors.

Honors Cords

Honors cords are a gift from the dean to be presented only to those honors students who participate in the Convocation on May 17.  Prior to the start of the ceremony, the Administrative Assistant for your department will hand out the honors cords to those undergraduate students who have earned them.  For those students graduating in Spring 2019, the honors qualifications need to have been met by the end of Fall 2018 in order to receive honors cords to be worn during Convocation.
