Dr. Tannenbaum's current research focuses on political campaign communication and communication outreach to disenfranchised populations. Recent publications include two chapters in Research, Advocacy, and Political Engagement: Multidisciplinary Perspective through Service Learning (April 2008) Stylus Publishing and “Analyzing the Communication Dynamics of Political Campaigns,” (July 2007) Communication Teacher. Dr. Tannenbaum also serves as the CSU Fresno Faculty Service-Learning Mentor and the advisor to students pursing an English Single Subject with Speech Emphasis Teaching Credential. Dr. Tannenbaum regularly serves as a Political Analyst with KSEE Channel 24 and is serving her third term as an elected trustee on the Fresno County School Board.
