What is Art?
When asked that question, many people may envision an artist drawing, painting, or sculpting in a studio. While there is no limit to what an artistic “medium” may be—or how it may be showcased—in the contemporary art world, CCA is committed to including traditional gallery exhibitions of visual art. These exhibitions are curated to encourage discovery and dialogue about current issues related to CCA’s annual theme.
Many exhibitions are displayed at Califonia State University, Fresno’s Conley Art Gallery as well as other locations on and off campus.
Art department faculty members Laura Meyer and Julia Bradshaw were the Faculty Coordinators for CCA’s arts exhibitions.
