Born London England
Nick studied in England and has a BFA from the Cheltenham College of Art and an MFA from the Birmingham Art Institute. Much of the artwork he produced while studying was fuelled by the banality of everyday spaces, particularly the elevators, lobbies and corridors of the tower blocks that he had grown up in.
Nick moved to the U.S in 1999, teaching at Florida State for two years before moving to California State Univesity, Fresno. Primarily working in painting, Nick's current works often contain modernist architectural spaces to depict failed utopias; representing fears about existence, isolation, class and materialism.
Nick exhibits nationally and internationally and teaches painting and drawing.
