Gina Strumwasser, received her Ph.D. in Art History from UCLA and is a Professor of Art , specializing in Renaissance and Baroque art. She has published articles and presented papers on a diversity of subjects including Leonardo da Vinci, Jan van Eyck, Rembrandt, heroic women from the Old Testament, problems of gender in art, humor, popular culture and advertising. She enjoys traveling to Italy and has led numerous tours to Rome, Florence and Venice -- visiting museums, churches, piazzas and palazzi.
