Admissions and Recruitment

Transfer Success Pathway

The Transfer Success Pathway (TSP) guarantees admission to students in their major at the CSU campus of their choice.

From August 1—September 30, 2023, community college students who graduated or left high school in 2023 will be able to enter a TSP agreement with a specific CSU campus for a specific major. Transfer-eligible students are guaranteed admission to the campus and the major they specified if the requirements of the agreement are met within three years.

The new TSP provides greater access to California Community College students by defining the transfer goal early, facilitating greater support from the CSU to these students, and holding a place in the major of their choice at the campus of their choice.

Who is eligible?

  • Students that left or graduated high school in 2023
  • First-time Freshman that was not CSU eligible at the time of high school graduation
  • First-time Freshman who did  not attend CSU due to personal or financial reasons
  • CSU Redirect freshmen who opted not to enroll on the CSU campus.
