Diane Chambers (1974) plays Agnes in the Syfy Channel movie "Sharknado." Her character is one of the residents in the nursing home that comes under attack by sharks being tossed about in a tornado.

Kyle Dodson (2010) and Nina Thorne (Student) performed in CenterState Clovis' Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Kyle is Napthali/Pharaoh and Nina plays one of the wives.
Brian Domingos, Jr. (2005) has been elected to the board of directors of the Greater Fresno Area Chamber of Commerce. A designated realtor with Premier Valley Realty, he also serves on the board of directors of the Fresno State Alumni Association.
Julia Dudley Najieb (1995) is President of AnnMarieProTV (AMPTV). She recently announced that her company is expanding the availability of African-American programming in Central California.
Augie Garrido (1961), the current head baseball coach at Texas, has been inducted in the inaugural class of the Omaha College Baseball Hall of Fame. As a Bulldog, he was an all-conference player and took part in the 1959 College World Series. As a coach, his is the winningest in Division 1 baseball history with 1,874 - 871 - 9 in 45 seasons. Garrido was inducted in the Fresno State Hall of Fame in 1993; and named an Outstanding Alumnus by the Fresno State Alumni Association on behalf of the Division of Athletics at the Top Dog Alumni Awards Gala in 2002.
Scott Hancock (2007) was the director of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," a CenterStage Clovis Community Theatre production. A Fresno State theater arts graduate, he has performed the show twice.

Dan Hemesath (1960) has retired after 31 years as the photographer of Dan’s Fine Photos.
Wil Hooker (1997) has been named coach of the American Basketball Association's Fresno Griffins. He is a former Fresno State standout that has previously coached four seasons at Memorial High, leading the Panthers to four league titles and a Central Section championship.
Ryan Jacobsen (2002, ’04) has been elected president of the AgOne Foundation at Fresno State. As a student, he was the Associated Students, Inc. President from 2001 to 2003 and recognized as the Jordan College Dean’s Medalist and the Craig School of Business Graduate Dean’s Medalist. More
Jeff Macon (2012) has been appointed interim director of Fresno State’s Small Business Development Center. He is also the program manager of Technology Commercialization for the Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship for the Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Dot-Marie Jones (Alumna) has been nominated in the Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series category for her role as Shannon Beiste in Glee. She will also be the keynote speaker for the Power of the Purse Luncheon on October 9th at the Gallo Center for Arts in Modesto. More

Arthur Montejano (2011, ’13) has been hired as the leadership program advisor for Fresno State’s Office of Student Involvement. He served as President of the Associated Students, Inc. for the 2012-13 academic year.
Pete Nolan (1992), Senior Deputy District Attorney of the homicide unit in the DA’s Indio office, was recognized as the state’s 2013 Outstanding Prosecutor by the California District Attorneys Association (CDAA).
Nina Palomino (2003, ‘10) was named as interim manager of the Rue and Gwen Gibson Farm Market. Palomino has served as a project coordinator with the CSU Office of the Chancellor and has extensive retail management experience with the Target Corporation.
Kathy Powers (2003), creator of "Hey Kids, Let's Cook!," attended First Lady Michelle Obama's second annual kids' state dinner at the White House on July 9th. She was part of the media covering the first lady's "Let's Move!" initiative to help solve childhood obesity. More
Kenneth J. Price (1987), of Baker Manock & Jensen Attorneys at Law, received the Rising Star award from the Marindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings. This award is given to lawyers who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
Dolly Silveira (2010) married her partner, Brook Justin, on July 10th. A ceremony is planned for the future.
Robert Scranton (1980) is the deputy commandant of the Training Ship Golden Bear, operated by Cal Maritime Academy.
Doug Yavanian (1967) has been selected to serve on the 2013-14 Riverside County Grand Jury. The investigative body assumed duties effective on July 1st. He serves on the board of directors of the Fresno State Alumni Association.
