Bulldog Pride Fund

Including the 2017-18 academic year, the BPF will have provided 51 scholarships valued at $95,000. As of June 1, 2017; total donations to the BPF are $463,665.



The Bulldog Pride Fund (BPF) is an endowed scholarship established under the auspices of the Fresno State Alumni Association that provides an annuity to support students attending Fresno State. 

For the 2017-18 academic year, the following six students will share $12,000 equally, or $2,000 each: 

• BPF: ASI President’s Award – Blake Zante – a senior from Clovis majoring in political science; 
• BPF: Harvey Milk Humanics Award – Daniel Gonzalez – a senior from Fresno studying sociology; 
• BPF: TimeOut Spirit Award – by tradition, the name of the student that performs as Fresno State’s mascot is kept asecret, but he’s a freshman from Fresno majoring in media, communication and journalism;
• BPF: GSA Network Award – Jonatan Ramirez – a senior from Fresno studying accountancy; 
• BPF: Drum Major Award – Johnny Grant – a senior from Rancho Bernardo majoring in music education; and
• BPF: USP President’s Award – Miguel Bueno – a senior from Kerman studying economics.
