Peter Robertson (BA '92, MA '95, MBA '05) LEGACY
A three-time graduate of Fresno State, Peter Robertson has worked at his alma mater
since Feb. 2002. He oversees the major gifts and planned giving fundraising for the
Fresno State Alumni Association. Robertson also assists the clubs, chapters, alumni
and friends in establishing endowed student scholarship funds.
He also established the Bulldog Pride Scholarship Fund with two $50 donations in 2006. Today, its endowment has grown to more than $360,000; and it has provided 47 scholarships valued at $97,000 to Fresno State students.
In 2011, Robertson was presented the “Spirit of Caring Award” from HandsOn California and a Presidential Volunteer Service award from Barack Obama, as well as a prestigious Top Dog Alumnus Award – the Arthur Safstrom Service Award – by the Fresno State Alumni Association for his “service to Fresno State and the community.” The following year, he was bestowed the “Spirit of Service Award,” presented to a Fresno State staff member. In 2013, Robertson was inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi; in 2014 he was inducted into Fresno State’s MCJ Hall of Fame.
He serves as director emeritus with Fresno Reel Pride, volunteers with Fresno Grand
Opera; and was a member of Leadership Fresno: Class XXV, a program sponsored by the
Greater Area Fresno Chamber of Commerce.
