Fresno State Floral - Wedding & Event Policy Information
Basic initial consultation for events, weddings, receptions, etc. are done free of charge, unless otherwise specified during scheduling. Any additional consultations will be subject to a fee of $25 per hour. All fees will be applied to the event balance once a deposit has been paid. All consultations will be by appointment only. An appointment can be made by phone at 278-7627, or in person at 3150 E. Barstow, Fresno, CA 93740. Fresno State Floral Lab reserves the right to charge a $25.00 fee for rescheduling consultation appointments that have been missed or cancelled without 24 hours advance notice.
All estimates are good for 15 days. A deposit must be received within 15 days to hold dates and pricing. All deposits are accepted on a first come first serve basis. In no way does a consultation date affect the way deposits are accepted. Fresno State Floral requires a $300.00 minimum deposit to reserve wedding services on agreed specified day. For all other events a $150.00 minimum deposit is required to reserve services on agreed specified day. All deposits are non-refundable and CANNOT be used towards other events. An additional deposit may be required for any date changes. Fresno State Floral will not refund deposits for dates that have been changed to a new date that is unavailable. Fresno State Floral will not be responsible for any services estimated where a deposit has not been paid. All balances are due three weeks prior to any event. All numbers and flower choices must be finalized three weeks prior to the any event. A $25.00 per day late fee will apply to any fees not paid by specified date. Clients will be responsible for full payment if cancellation is not made three weeks prior to any event. All final payments must be paid by credit card/debit card, cash, money order or cashiers check made payable to CSUF Ag Foundation.
Fresno State Floral often goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service. However, Fresno State Floral does not take responsibility for the condition of flowers; if inaccurate information is given by the client, nor if other vendors or sites are not open or do not arrive on time. Delivery times will be scheduled with the floral manager only either in person or by phone at least two weeks before the event. Once a delivery time has been agreed upon, changes will only be made within 24 hours of notification of the set time. We will make every effort to arrive on time. In some instances we may arrive early. If we are delayed for any reason you will be notified immediately. We cannot control traffic or weather conditions so we will make our best attempt to agree upon a time that will allow for your items to arrive before your event. Any discrepancies must be reported at the time of pick up or delivery. Fresno State floral will not be held responsible for any damage that is caused to products once they reach the event site or are picked up from our facility.
In some instances colors of flowers may vary from pictures due to weather conditions or seasons. We will do our best to order specific colors when specified, however flower crops may naturally vary in color. Some flowers may become not available due to weather conditions, and/or grower discretion. If a specified flower is not available you will be notified at least 24 hours in advance. Substitute options will be presented at that time. No refunds or credits will be given for unavailability of flowers, only substitution. If we cannot reach you in a timely manner we will choose a suitable substitute.
Rentals: All rental items must be returned in good / working condition. Renter is responsible for full replacement price on any items that are not returned or returned damaged. All rental items must be returned during business hours, within 5 days of the event date. Late items will be subject to late fees equal to the rental price per day. Please DO NOT leave rental items with the neighboring enterprise. If these items are lost or stolen the renter will be held fully responsible. There is an additional service fee to pick up rentals from venues. All rentals require a $100 cash deposit or credit card information held for incidentals.
