College of Social Sciences
Students in the College of Social Sciences study the human experience, including the depth of the past and the breadth of the entire planet, in the study of Anthropology, Geography, and History. The diversity of human cultures and social experiences are explored through Sociology, Anthropology, and Women's Studies. Political affairs are analyzed in Political Science, Public Administration, and International Relations. Some of the most pressing social issues of our times are addressed in the Department of Criminology. The college also offers depth of study in ethnic heritages, with special focus on Africana Studies , Chicano & Latin American Studies Asian American and Southeast Asian Studies.
