The President’s Circle for Excellence
Fresno State President Joseph I. Castro is on a mission to ensure student success. Join him in this effort with a gift to support one of these projects.
It is crucial that Fresno State stays on the cutting-edge of technology in the classroom. The Tablet Project will investigate how tablets can best be used in the classroom. Funds will be used to put tablets in the hands of students and faculty and carefully measure the impact on student success.
The Bulldog Pantry
Fresno State students have a passion for serving the community. The Bulldog Pantry embodies this spirit. Each week this student-run food pantry provides groceries to more than 150 students and families in need who live in the neighborhoods surrounding the campus.
Good Samaritan Fund
When a student’s finances are low, the loss of prescription glasses, a crashed computer or the need for dental care could stand in the way of achieving in school. The Good Samaritan Fund is a tool to address these kinds of set-backs and keep students on track to excel in the classroom.
Gifts to the President’s Fund make a powerful impact on Fresno State. These funds can be used to bridge important budget gaps and provide critical academic opportunities for students and faculty. This fund allows President Castro to meet the unexpected needs of the university and invest in student success.
