Planned Giving at Fresno State

"Investing in our next 100 years"

Thank you for your interest in planned giving as a way to make a gift to Fresno State. Planned gifts not only provide Fresno State with a future source of private funding, but also can help to preserve the assets of your estate from unnecessary taxation. Working with your advisors and our Planned Giving Office will ensure that your estate gift will be used for the specific college, school, scholarship, program or project that you desire. As we move into our second century of service to students and the community, we remain grateful to those friends and alumni who have already chosen to invest in Fresno State's future. We encourage you to join these visionaries and consider leaving your own legacy that will enhance the education of Fresno State students for generations to come.

Look around

You will find information on how to include Fresno State in your family's estate plan. Please roam these pages for more specific information about bequests, trusts, gift annuities, gifts of retirement plans and gifts of life insurance. You might want to click on Donor Stories to see how past gifts are making a difference today.

Seek advice

Planning your estate can sometimes get complicated. Even simple estate plans can have significant tax and other legal consequences. As you review these pages, please remember that there are always exceptions to every rule. We encourage you to seek guidance from a qualified licensed professional such as an attorney or certified public accountant to be certain that your desires are fulfilled without any unwelcome surprises.

Let us know...

If you have already planned an estate gift to benefit Fresno State, we would be honored to add your name to an exclusive list of individuals who are investing in the future of our great university. The Heritage Society honors alumni and friends who have included Fresno State in their estate plans or have made some other type of planned gift to the university.
