Warehouse & Property Services

The function of Warehouse and Property Services is to handle the incoming shipments and packages to the University. After receiving, the department is charged with the distribution of all incoming items to their proper and final destination.

Property Services, through the University Property Clerk, is responsible for the official University inventory and the proper disposal of any and all surplus inventory. In addition, the Property Clerk will conduct an annual inventory with the appointed department property designee, as well as take a physical inventory with the department property designee once every three years.

As a convenience to the University, Property Services provides a light duty moving service. The campus movers will help move surplus equipment and furniture to the surplus holding area, and will handle light moving; which includes boxes, some furniture and other approved items for departments and offices from one site to another. Campus movers do not make complete departmental moves.
