When are parking permits required?
- Parking permits are required Monday thru Friday.
- Fall/Spring Semesters
- Summer Session
Where can I park on Saturday and Sunday?
- Parking permits are not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and State holidays, except during special events.

- Bus Parking
What if I disagree with my parking citation?
- You may request an Initial Review (appeal) of your parking citation by filling out an Initial Review request.
- Appeals can be made online, by mail, or in person at the Police Department.
How do I pay my parking citation?
- Payments can be made in person, over the phone, or online.
What if I don't pay my parking citation?
- Failure to pay or appeal a parking citation will result in one or more of the following:
- letter to the registered owner
- late fees
- hold on DMV registration
- student hold on campus

- Student permits can be purchased at the following locations:
- Online via My Fresno State
- Police Department Service Center
How much is a semester parking permit (students)?
- $93 Semester (fall or spring)
- $186 Annual (fall/spring)
- $44 Summer
Where do I buy a Faculty/Staff permit?
- Faculty and Staff must buy a parking permit at the Cashier's Window in Joyal Administration Bldg
- IMPORTANT: You must have authorization from Human Resources or Academic Personnel to buy a Faculty/Staff permit.

- Daily parking permit dispensers are located at the entrances to the campus, and in various parking lots.
How much is a one-day permit?

What areas are always enforced?
- Disabled parking (blue zones)
- Emergency parking (red zones)
- Loading/timed zones (white zones)
- Reserved stalls
- Parking meters
- Other special parking areas (signed)
What if I lost my parking permit?
- Lost or stolen parking permits can be replaced at the Police Department Service Center.
Where can I park if I'm disabled?
- Parking lots have clearly designated parking spaces for the disabled.
Where can I park for event "X"?
- Do not assume there is free parking for the event you are attending.
- Please call the department sponsoring the event for parking information.
Can I have Building "X" or Room "X" opened?
- Room openings for classes are routed via the Scheduling Office, Thomas Admin Building, Room 128, 559.278-2491.
- Groups can submit a request thru Scheduling or Student Involvement, USU 306, 559.278-2741.
- Fresno State Police Department personnel will only open a building/room for an individual if he or she is authorized to be in the requested room.

Can I get a ride in one of your carts?
- The escort service during daytime hours is reserved for persons with disabilities.
- Escort services are also provided for safety/security reasons, especially during night time hours.
- The service is not to help you get across campus if you are running late or have objects to carry.
But I see other people getting rides...
- Not all carts transporting people are from the Police Department.
- Others being transported may be part of a tour, Plant Ops, Ag Ops, the President's Office etc.

- Yes. All laws, including the new cell phone laws are enforced on campus.
