Dr. Marc Barrie has been the professional development administrator at Fresno State for the past three years. Prior to his service at Fresno State, Dr. Barrie developed the employee wellness program at San Francisco State University where he served as both wellness program supervisor and adjunct faculty member for the Kinesiology Department. Marc's current research focuses on Leadership and Organizational Development.

Katherine Williamson is an alumnus Katherine Williamson
of Fresno State, where she received
an M.A. in Kinesiology – Sport Psychology
and a B.A. in Psychology, with a Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. She was awarded the Graduate Dean’s Medal for the College of Health and Human Services, and the Graduate President’s Scholarship, and was awarded the Smittcamp Family Honors scholarship as an undergraduate. Katherine’s areas of research and interest include: developing effective worksite wellness programs, overcoming barriers to exercise, and obesity; Katherine has worked as a behavior therapist for overweight and obese teens, a personal weight-loss coach, activities coordinator, and a wellness instructor for the Fresno Rescue Mission. Katherine’s current projects include researching an effective multi-dimensional model of holistic wellness and professional development for higher education, as well as publishing her LiveWELL wellness program.
