E-Recruit Announcement

Fresno State is launching a new online employment website. The website,, is under construction and will be released on April 9th.

California State University, Fresno has developed an online employment site for the recruiting of and applying to all vacant non-faculty positions, including staff, MPP and student academic employees (GA/TA/ISA). Response to the meetings held across campus announcing the new website has been very positive.

The campus online process accessible through the My Fresno State Portal is called E-Recruit. This new system is designed to make the employment process more efficient and accessible for both job seekers and hiring managers at the university. The current business process from requesting to recruit through the hiring of the successful candidate has been made more efficient and streamlined by the new online system.

Fresno State is among the leaders in the 23-campus California State University system to move to online recruiting and application management system..

The new process offers three advantages:

  • Flexibility. Job seekers for current openings (excluding faculty positions and Athletic Corporation jobs) are able to apply electronically and conveniently through the Website, which is updated daily.
  • Accessibility. The site is easily accessible from any computer connected to the Internet. Applicants without computer access may visit campus or community locations.
  • Functionality. When applying online, job seekers can maintain their applications, attach or create a r sum and submit other supporting materials all on a secure server. They also can check the status of the recruitment process.

All recruitments currently in process will continue as usual. All applications will remain valid for those specific recruitments, except those identified as "continuous recruitments." New vacancies and all continuously recruited positions will require submission of an electronic application through the Website. New recruitments submitted after April 9 will be initiated through E-Recruit.

Training sessions for the new online system will be offered in the next few weeks. Training will be offered in modules of 1 to 3 hours in length. You may attend the module which best meets your needs. Watch for a training schedule with dates, times and locations in the near future.
