Key Control
Key Control is responsible for the issuing, tracking, auditing and recovering for both keyless systems and metal keys. Both the Locknetics and Universal keyless entry systems are monitored by Key Control, along with over 20,000 metal keys distributed to authorized personnel across the campus. Key Control is located in the campus Lockshop and reports to Plant Operations/ Facilities Management.
Note: Key Control was previously part of the Bulldog Card office. While the Bulldog Card office still takes photos, prints ID cards, and manages the printing stations, they no longer operate the Key Control function. This means that all keyless entry, metal key issuing, and other security functions are now part of Plant Operations in the Lockshop.
