While our course redesign effort is guided by the work of the National Center for Academic Transformation (NCAT), Fresno State’s working definition of course redesign is “Any effort to enhance student learning using active learning pedagogy.” This definition is designed to encompass all levels of information technology use including “flipping the classroom”, screen capture, lecture capture, online learning modules, and other pedagogical strategies such as collaborative learning and peer evaluation.
