To continue helping make high-impact practices more easily accessible--especially in times of COVID-19's social distancing--this page allows us to carry on showcasing the high expectations we have, the significant investments undertaken by, and the exceptional learning experiences of our students. Here, we carry on our tradition of important, end-of-semester social engagement, allowing community, faculty, and peer feedback on our students' shared and newfound knowledge.
Given our university's strong ties to family and community, this semester's symposium
is dedicated to all of the family members loss to us in 2020; here, we dedicate our
efforts in loving memory of Jose "Tikan" Cabrera Tongson, who passed on December 6,
2020. To family members no longer with us, you are forever in our hearts, thoughts,
and memories, with the high-impact work presented here in dedication to you.

55145 | Applying a temperature gradient to the ends of a conducting or semiconducting material generates an electromotive force across this material converting thermal energy into electrical energy. This is known as the Seebeck effect. The purpose of my research has been to analyze the Seebeck Coefficient and compare it to that of a precious student's run and analysis to ensure it correlates. The previous experimental measurements only account for one sample measurement at a time, when the ideal would be to measure two samples at once.
