OCED Update

Fresno State’s Office of Community and Educational Development (OCED) is proud of its 23-year history of serving the communities in Central California with programs aligned with economic development strategies that maximize regional impact and improve lives by promoting equity, education, and development opportunities. OCED is undergoing a reorganization, and the university has assigned the leadership and operational management of OCED to the Division of Continuing and Global Education. We anticipate that this transition will be completed by the end of this fiscal year (June 2024), which aims to strengthen the support and outreach to our local communities.

Please be advised that OCED services continue, including programs associated with the Women’s Entrepreneur Center and Parent University. OCED also continues to offer services and programs focused on rural business development, digital literacy, and financial literacy (among many others).

During this organizational transition, you may reach Dr. Scott Moore, Dean of CGE at scottm@csufresno.edu with questions or requests for assistance.
