Svetlana Hancer, MPH
After working in both the CSU and the UC system, Svetlana has returned to implement a comprehensive research compliance program and to serve as the Research Compliance Officer for Fresno State University.
Svetlana has many years of experience in the research field. Some of her experiences include serving as the Program Coordinator for Fresno State’s Research Infrastructure in Minority Institutions (RIMI), NIH-funded program. After completing work with the RIMI program, she joined University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and spent several years fully immersed in clinical research. As a Clinical Research Coordinator, Svetlana was responsible for the management and compliance monitoring of all clinical research projects within the Department of Emergency Medicine. She also served as the Director for the Academic Research Associate (ARA) program within the department.
Svetlana obtained a B.A. in Social Work and a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from California State University, Fresno.
