The mission of the
Office of
Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) is to advance University
research and support the efforts of faculty, students and staff in
fulfilling a wide range of goals.
Information on the ORSP website includes (but is not limited to) proposal development; and programs that support faculty research activities; including the Laval Award for Innovative Technology and Research, Research, Scholarship and Creative Activities Awards, and the Provost's Research Activity Awards (RAA).
Center for the Scholarly Advancement of Learning and Teaching (CSALT)
CSALT
represents a center that focuses on the pre-eminence of learning
and the vital role of engagement and teaching.
CSALT provides great
ideas to help faculty,
opportunities
for individual faculty development, and many
programs
and initiatives with scholarship at the forefront.
Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC)
The Mission of the Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) program at Fresno State is primarily to offer guidance and direction to faculty who use writing in their courses, and who wish to help students improve their writing practices.
