Intersession and Summer Session

Intersession

Intersession occurs in the three week period between semesters. The timeframe allows students to concentrate on one course without interruptions, demands of other classes or other activities. Students are able to maximize academic success and accelerate their time to degree completion. Intersession is offered by the Division of Continuing and Global Education (CGE).

Summer Session

Summer session, also offered by CGE, occurs in a nine-week period over the summer months. The timeframe allows students to enroll in courses that will be offered in either a three week, six week or nine week session. Students are eligible to enroll in a maximum of 12 units during the entire summer period. This will provide an excellent opportunity for accelerating their time to degree completion.

Non-credit course offerings are also available.
