Facilitator - Martin Shapiro
Dr. Shapiro is an associate professor of psychology specializing in behavioral neuroscience and risky decision making. He received his Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Hawaii followed by two years as a post-doctoral researcher at Oxford University in the Zoology Department. He currently teaches courses on animal behavior, experimental psychology and neuroscience in the Psychology Department and an upper division course on global trends in the Smittcamp Honors College. In 2010, Dr. Shapiro received the provost award for the use of technology in education.
