Letter of Recommendation Exercise

One activity that assists in frontloading behavioral expectations for the student is having them write an imagined letter of recommendation for their future service.  This letter might focus on punctuality, commitment, initiative, and any other aspect of civic engagement appropriate to the agency’s needs.

This type of activity may be a component of reflection during the service learning experience.
