Reflection Facilitators (ReFs)

A group photo of the 2017-18 Reflection Facilitators.

The 2019-20 Reflection Facilitators are (clockwise from back, left) Carlos Gonzalez, Sam Steen, Ramiro Merino, Val Fulton, Jess Pablo, and Elva Aguilar.

Reflection Facilitators (ReFs), founded in 2011, help Fresno State students make meaning from their service experiences by guiding them through critical thinking activities called reflection.

Students serving as ReFs undergo extensive training to learn facilitative leadership skills as well as various reflection tools.  This program is especially useful for students who are interested in gaining leadership experience, are looking to further explore the field of community service, or are particularly interested in sharpening their group facilitation skills.

For more information about the ReFs program, contact Mellissa Jessen-Hiser or Taylan Parker by calling 559.278.7079.

New ReFs are recruited every spring.  Visit the RCSL blog for updated recruitment information.
