AEI Concurrent Program

What is the AEI Concurrent (Open University) Program?

The AEI Concurrent (Open University) Program permits qualified AEI students to enroll in a university class at the California State University, Fresno, while improving their English skills at the AEI. Students must have advanced English skills and a TOEFL score slightly below the required minimum for admission to the California State University, Fresno.

Who can participate in the Concurrent Program?

  • AEI undergraduate students with a minimum TOEFL score of 480 (54 iBT).
  • AEI graduate students with a minimum TOEFL score of 520 (iBT 68).

How are fees paid?

  • Fees for Open University classes are paid directly to the Division of Continuing and Global Education.
  • Fees for the AEI are paid directly to the AEI.
